Like many of my current clients, the first question I’m sure that comes up for you when faced with Coaches like me is “What exactly do you do??”   That is a very good question because the world of “Life Coaching” often brings up images of a frantic, over the top character running around with a wireless headset dishing out high fives and exclaiming “YOU CAN DO IT!!!”.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a positive, energized person who will help you with motivation when you need it, but there is a science to coaching for those that have pursued it seriously as a profession.

It is a very powerful modality which I’ve seen amazing things arise from, both from my experience as a Coach, as well as a client.

I see the Coaching relationship as a thought-provoking and creative process designed to help my clients create and embrace lasting change.  There has never been a cookie cutter process that I’ve used even for 2 people seeking exactly the same thing.

The changes that people want to see through our work together have varied considerably over time but some of the main reasons people explore my services are:

Career:  ”Am I in the right place/path?”  “Could there be something else for me that is more fulfilling?”  “I want to find something that interlinks better with my values”;

Balance:  “I don’t have enough balance in my life…what can I do?”  “I work A LOT and can’t seem to make time for _____”;

Fulfillment:  “I just don’t wake up with that joy and spark that I used to…how do I get it back?”  “Is there something more out there than my day to day life?”

Relationships/Dating:  “I’ve been dating for awhile and keep meeting the same types of men/women over and over again who are not right for me”

Focus:  “I get distracted easily and don’t feel like I have direction anymore”

And many more topics including Finances, Spirituality, Social Life and Family Pressures.

The field of Coaching is growing exponentially and a recent International Coaching Federation survey found it is expected to grow over 30% a year in the next decade. It is growing at this level because of the tremendous successes that have come out of it that I have seen first-hand.

I look forward to working with you so you can find out for yourself.
